Fish Food and Accessories

Tetra wheatgerm sticks are the best quality food for all fish and especially koi carp as the temperatures in the pond drop in the Autumn and as they are rise in the Spring. At water temperatures between 10 and 7 degrees centigrade, koi still seem anxious to be fed. In fact although they can take food, their systems are only capable of digesting the lightest low protein food. An added bonus is that the resultant fish waste is less toxic and more easily processed by the biological filter at these low temperatures.
