Koi- hand picked Israeli Koi from 2-3ins @ £5 each to 12-25 inch from £250
Fancy Goldfish- Goldfish, Shubunkin, Orfe, Sarassa, Comet, bubble eyes, lion heads, Black Moors, tench, sterlet, rudd.

Pond liners- Butyl, PVC(0.5mm,0.3mm), new Green-Seal Rubber from Gordon Low.

Fibreglass ponds- from Oasis and black HDP preformed ponds

Submersible Pond pumps- Oasis, Blagdon and Oase in stock but anything can be obtained.

Pond Filters and U/Vs- from Oasis, Blagdon and Roger Firmin Filters

Pond Treatments

Tropical Fish- complete range and all the accessories (like Juwel spares) and treatments to establish and maintain a perfect balance. Aquaria include Aqua-One

Marine Fish- including living rock; very high quality. All necessary accessories and treatments.

Spares and accessories- are kept for any pumps, lamps, filters or whatever product sold in the past. All the necessary pipes and fittings for completing any water garden installation are kept in stock.

Aquaria decoration, books, Sera and Aqua-One food.

About the Business

Green Acres Water Garden Centre is tucked out of the way down behind the village of Jameston, near Manorbier in Pembrokshire. It has been in existence since 1984 and is the thriving creation of Mike Foley and his family. At the moment there are two staff.

Mike bought his first fish way back in 1947 when he was living in Eastham. He has actually been working in the aquatics trade since 1964 and ran a little pet shop in Pembroke Dock called Pentro Pets in 1970 that specialised in aquatics. From there he moved to plot of land near Manobier where he built up his water garden centre. It never looked back from the day it started and has thrived from recommendation arising from customer satisfaction ever since.

Mike prides himself on his personal customer service and will source any product the customer feels as though he or she needs, although he thinks he stocks 99% of what you could possibly ever want.

Despite the well worn look to some of the fixtures and fittings, the place is clean and tidy and well looked after. The stock in the tanks are in pristine condition and the whole site emanates a feeling of love and care that has nurtured it over so many years.

The 'dry goods' from the pond liners, the preformed fibre-glass ponds, the pumps and filters are all high quality or products that are exceptionally good value for money. Mike refuses to offer customers products that he does not see as fit for purpose. He will only recommend products that he knows will work for you. He would never let you be taken in by some of the 'deals' that many manufacturers have tried in the past in order to offload poorly designed products onto a gullible public.
