Peter May is a consultant on garden design and construction and has designed and built water gardens all over the Untied Kingdom, in France and Germany. He has received a National Award for Garden Design from BALI for "The Water Saving Garden" at the Bristol Water office premises in Bristol UK, a Platinum award for a 'garden design and build' at the National Amateur Garden Show (92?) and was responsible for the water garden construction in John Van Hague's Pavilion Garden at the Chelsa Flower Show in 1991, which was awarded the Fiskars Sword of Excellence. He has built water gardens for and was the resident water garden expert of CTV's Garden Time programme featuring Arthur Billet and Howard Dury. Apart from 5 other books on water gardens he has been regular contributor for several magazines including The Water Gardener Magazine, Water Gardening, Essential Water Garden, Aquarist and Pondkeeper, Fishkeeping Today and Koi Ponds and Gardens (now Koi).
