Cascade Pumps

This range of pumps are serviceable pumps for any sort of decorative pond, the smaller ones - Models 450, 700, 1000 - being mainly suitable for fountais and fountain features.

They all come with a complete selection of distinctive fountain display jets.

The larger Models of 700 to 4000 come with a bell jet.

All pumps up to the 4000 also have a telescopic stem.

Models from 1000 up come with a T-piece that enables them to be used for two purposes at the same time e.g. a waterfall and a fountain. We will concentrate on the smaller models here.

Other Key Features :

They are claimed to offer more performance for lower running costs with the combination of a multi-blade impellor and OMC, which to the uninitiates means Optimised Magnetic Coupling. You are probably none the wiser for that information, but rest assured you are not alone!

The larger models have TRF (Thermal Re-settable Fuse) technology to protect the motor from damage if the pump overheats when blocked or it runs dry. Shame this doesn't get included with the smaller pumps that are much more prone to running dry in small fountain features.

All Cascades 2000 upwards use a ceramic shaft and bearings for extra life, which Hozelock claims enable them to offer "a 3year guarantee with confidence". There is no mention in their press literature of the guarantee on the smaller models or whether this 'with confidence' or not.

Hozelock Cyprio have always been brave enough to offer a large range of low voltage pumps to the general public complete with transformers. The range has now been extended to include low voltage pumps in all the model sizes from 700 to 4000 litres per hour. They offer identical performance to the mains versions but taking a 24 volt power supply means they can quickly and safely installed anywhere with access to a power point within 50m. Although they come with 3m of cable, this can be extended up to 50m without loss of performance. Because of the low voltage burying and protecting the cable is more for the safety of the pump than safety in the garden. They all have idential features and accessories in common with the mains voltage models.
